Özgenur Korlu is a professional with nearly 10 years of experience in social development, evidence-based policy analysis and intervention policy design. She works on education and employment policies and the politics of policy making. She is interested in research methods and information disorder. In addition to her work in academia and civil society, she designs infographics and graphics as an information designer. She provides data storytelling and visualization training. She is academically interested in democracy and system crisis.
Korlu's work is generally based on data obtained through surveys, official statistics sharing and data scraping, and process monitoring analyses. He uses Python and Stata for quantitative analyses. He has experience in managing and moderating focus groups for qualitative studies.

She is a policy analyst at the Education Reform Initiative (ERG), the Turkey representative of the Interagency Network for Education in Emergencies (INEE), and a PhD student in political science at Istanbul Bilgi University as of February 2025. She completed her undergraduate education at Boğaziçi University with a double major in economics and political science and international relations. In her master's thesis at MEF University in business administration, she designed policies that could be implemented at Borsa Istanbul by creating her own dataset to encourage companies to be more sustainable.
